The Hon. Dr. Christian Cardona, Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business visited Printex Ltd. this morning to inaugurate a new plastic card production line. He was welcomed by the Board of Directors led by the Chairperson Ms Helga Ellul.
Plastic cards can be used for various purposes in everyday life be it as loyalty cards, membership cards, ID Cards, employee passes, key cards, gift cards, promotional give-aways, luggage tags, business cards, and more.
The technology in which Printex invested is state-of-the art and fully computer-driven. This makes it possible to produce small quantities as well as long runs, and all at competitive prices. Printex is also capable of personalising every card that is being produced while still in production, thus opening the door to many new applications for these cards.
This new investment also means that plastic cards can now start being produced locally instead of having to be imported. This obviously will be generating more work locally, while serving the local market better.
